Brother Corhyn is an NPC that has direct influence over the Age of Order ending in Elden Ring. Complete his questline alongside that of Goldmask to unlock the Age of Order ending that seeks to resurrect the Golden Order without its many flaws.
Quest Objectives |

|
When Melina first takes you to the Roundtable Hold, you can speak to Corhyn beside the Table of Lost Grace. He will introduce himself and ask you if you still see the guidance of grace.
Tell Brother Corhyn I see it to unlock him as a merchant and progress his quest. At the end of this conversation, Brother Corhyn will reward you with the Prayer gesture.
Once players discover and unlock the Altus Plateau, return to the Roundtable Hold and speak to Brother Corhyn. He will tell you he is leaving the Roundtable Hold to search for a scholar called Goldmask.
Should players need any of the incantations Brother Corhyn sells, now is the time to buy them before he moves to the Altus Plateau.

Brother Corhyn will next appear once players reach the Altus Plateau. He can be found to the north of the Altus Highway Junction site of grace, standing by the roadside. After speaking to him, players will need to find Goldmask and then report back to Brother Corhyn. Tell him the scholar's location to progress his questline.
Note: When you first find Brother Corhyn at the Altus Plateau, he will be selling two new incantations. Great Heal can be purchased for 9000 Runes while Lightning Fortification costs 7500 Runes.

Goldmask can be found standing on a broken bridge to the west of the Dominula, Windmill Village in the Altus Plateau. Interact with him to confirm his location.
To get to Goldmask, follow the road north from where you found Brother Corhyn. Once you arrive at the Forest-Spanning Greatbridge site of grace, use the waygate beside it to teleport to the other side. After the area loads, turn around to find Goldmask near the edge of the broken bridge.

Return to Brother Corhyn and tell him where to find Goldmask. Once Brother Corhyn's dialogue is exhausted, return to Goldmask's location to find both NPCs standing together. Speak to Brother Corhyn to find out what he is now doing with his new master.
Note: When Brother Corhyn parks himself beside Goldmask, he will sell a brand new incantation. Players can purchase Discus of Light for 11000 Runes. Like most fundamentalist incantations, this requires both Faith and Intelligence to wield.

Brother Corhyn and Goldmask will next be encountered once players reach Leyndell, Royal Capital. Both characters can be found standing on a cliff next to the large coliseum on the southwest end of the city.
Brother Corhyn will try to get his master to move again. Assist him in solving the problem behind Marika and Radagon by learning the Law of Regression incantation. Cast it in front of Radagon's statue to progress the questline.
In order to enter Leyndell, Royal Capital, you will first need to defeat its gatekeeper - the Draconic Tree Sentinel. Similar to the earlier Tree Sentinel fight in Limgrave, this version now comes with very strong fire and lightning attacks.
How to Beat Draconic Tree Sentinel
In order to get the Golden Order Principia which allows the purchase of the Law of Regression incantation, you will first need to defeat Godfrey the First Elden Lord.
Note: Godfrey is a main story boss, so ample preparation may be needed for players still struggling with the normal mobs in Leyndell.
How to Beat Godfrey, First Elden Lord
How to Get the Golden Order Principia | |
---|---|
1 | From the Erdtree Sanctuary site of grace, turn right and go out to the balcony. Use the branch to go to the upper level. |
2 | Once you get to the balcony above the Erdtree Sanctuary, go outside and turn left. Jump down to the sanctuary's roof and use the open window to reach the prayerbook location. |
The Golden Order Principia is a prayerbook that allows the purchase of the Law of Regression. Retrieve it from the hanging corpse right above the Erdtree Sanctuary site of grace.
To reach the prayerbook, use the large tree branch snaking its way through the area to get to the upper floor (start at the balcony with a lot of dead finger maidens).
Players can give the prayerbook to either Corhyn (he will still be next to Goldmask) or Miriel in Liurnia. Spend 10000 Runes to learn the incantation.
Note: In order to cast this incantation, you will need 37 Intelligence. Players who are not running intelligence builds will have to spend at least 2 Larval Tears to respec and return to their builds.
The next step is to cast Law of Regression in front of Radagon's statue in Leyndell. To find it, fast travel to the Erdtree Sanctuary and immediately head left. Head for the elevator at the bottom of this path and take it to the lower level.
Once the elevator stops, head down the steps and Radagon's statue should be right in front of you. Cast Law of Regression and witness the truth behind Marika's and Radagon's identities. Read the note that appears on the ground before you leave.
Return to Brother Corhyn and Goldmask at the foot of the coliseum. Speak to Goldmask first and he will reward you with the Golden Order Totality gesture. Once done, speak to Brother Corhyn to continue progressing his questline.
Note: After players solve Goldmask's dilemma, Brother Corhyn will sell a brand new incantation called the Immutable Shield for 13000 Runes.
Steps to Complete |

Defeat Morgott the Omen King |
Give Brother Corhyn the Tonic of Forgetfulness (Optional) |

After the events in Leyndell, Brother Corhyn and Goldmask will move to the Mountaintops of the Giants. They can be found on a large stone bridge overlooking the mountains. The closest site of grace will be the Snow Valley Ruins Overlook.
Speak to Brother Corhyn here to make sure that the Mending Rune of Perfect Order spawns on Goldmask's body later on. With this, players will be able to pick the Age of Order ending.
To get to the Mountaintops of the Giants, players will need to defeat Morgott the Omen King at the entrance to the Erdtree in Leyndell.
When he is beaten, Melina will give you the Rold Medallion which is needed to activate the Grand Lift of Rold at the end of the Forbidden Lands.
How to Beat Morgott, the Omen King
The Tonic of Forgetfulness you can get from Tanith can be given to Brother Corhyn when you meet him at the Mountaintops of the Giants. While it will not remove the item from your inventory, Brother Corhyn will still get a different ending after you defeat Maliketh, the Black Blade.

Once players defeat Maliketh in Crumbling Farum Azula, the story will automatically progress and they will eventually arrive at Leyndell, Capital of Ash.
To unlock the Age of Order ending, seek out Goldmask's body in the Capital of Ash. Pick up the Mending Rune of Perfect Order to get the option to pick the ending after you defeat the Elden Beast.

After you find his master's body, Brother Corhyn can be found kneeling on one of the ashy dunes leading up to the Erdtree Sanctuary site of grace. Speak to him and he will tell you how he came to disagree with the views of Goldmask.
After you speak to Brother Corhyn, reload the area and return to where he was kneeling. Corhyn's Robe, Corhyn's Bell Bearing, and his Flail can now be looted.

If players gave Brother Corhyn the Tonic of Forgetfulness, he will instead be found where you last met him at the Mountaintops of the Giants. Speak to him and he will tell you he does not know where Goldmask went.
Regardless of where Brother Corhyn ends up, reloading the area after you meet him will have him disappear. In his place will be a loot drop containing Corhyn's Robe, Corhyn's Bell Bearing, and his Flail.

"Oh, I see you've just arrived. Welcome to the Roundtable Hold. I'm Corhyn, a man of the cloth. I teach incantations, the strength granted us by the Two Fingers, and explore the secrets of the Golden Order." |
---|
"Well, what do you say? Care to learn an incantation of the Two Fingers?." |
---|
"May the Golden Order shine through you." |
---|
"Ah, look who we have here. How delightful, to meet a familiar face, even after departing the Roundtable Hold. I've been doing some learning of my own since then, actually. And will happily pass it along to you." |
---|
"I'm yet to find the noble Goldmask. I suppose he'll be closer to the Erdtree. The path ahead might be perilous, but tread it I shall. Since departing the Roundtable Hold, I've come to understand, in my solitude how little it is I truly know." |
---|
"Do...do you sport with me!? From your description, it can be no other than the Goldmask himself! Of course, of course, I knew he would be close by. Bless the Golden Order, and its benevolent rays. And to you too. My sincerest thanks." |
---|
"Ah, we meet yet again. Thanks to you, I have become acquainted with the noble Goldmask himself, and taken my place by his side, as you can see. Have no fear, I will still teach you incantations, as before. Though we must do so quietly, such that we not disturb the great master's cogitation." |
---|
"The master is always deep in contemplation. While I frantically attempt to record his wisdom: the movement of his finger. And though I am yet to comprehend even the daintiest morsel of his wisdom...I know that this, this is my life's calling. The Golden Order has bestowed me, talentless as I am, the great duty of documentarian." |
---|
"Master! What ever is the matter? Please, I implore you continue! Continue your reflections, your rhythms! I must be the one to record them! What matters this issue of Radagon, really? The Erdtree, heart of the Golden Order, lies before our very eyes! Why must these qualms come to you now? We were on the very cusp!" |
---|
"The master's reflections had heightened as we neared the Erdtree. While still a precise calculus, the rhythms grew increasingly wild. Until he simply ceased. Now the master is facing quite the puzzle. The Golden Order is founded on the principle that Marika is the one true god. However, the name of Marika's second husband, King Consort Radagon, also appeared..." |
---|
"I've...been gripped by a terrifying thought. The rhythms and calculus of the master's finger betray a suspicion of the holism of the Golden Order. A conceit, I am afraid, that cannot be overlooked. Oh, but how could this be? I dread to even entertain the possibility but somehow, I cannot cast aside my doubts about the master. Tell me, have I simply lost my head?" |
---|
"Only, if the master were true to the Golden Order, why would he think to breach this forbidden mount of fire? Oh master, put my mind at ease. Dispel these fearsome thoughts. I want to place my trust in you, to be your scribe." |
---|
"Oh, it's you. I've finally come to understand. The master was nothing more than a madman. Enchanted by a vain and ruinous delusion, he rejected the perfection of the Golden Order, seeking to supplant our glorious faith with his own! Could there be a more pitiable comedy? Look at it. The culmination of perfection, burning, before our very eyes!" |
---|
"Master...where did you go? I'm right here. Please, show me. Your finger. Your rhythms, and calculus. Let me document the motions... Master...master... Where did you go?" |
