This is a guide to farming Shattered Stones for crafting and summoning the Herald of Malphas at the Arcane Tremors in Diablo 4 (D4) Season 3. Read on to learn all the possible ways to farm Shattered Stones and how to use them.
You can defeat enemy constructs anywhere on the map, and they will reward you with a couple of Shattered Stones. Keep in mind that the best way to hunt for enemy constructs is by exploring the Arcane Tremors, which are available in every region.
Arcane Tremor Locations and Rewards
You can also find Shattered Stones by defeating the enemies spawned by the Obelisks found in the Arcane Tremors event area. These are scattered across the game and can easily be identified as the pilar with the green leaf icon on your map.
To summon the Herald of Malphas in the Arcane Tremors event area, you need to use three Elemental Cores and fifty Shattered Stones to activate the braziers. This will summon a powerful elite enemy, and defeating it will reward you with the Pearl of Warding, which can be used on Zoltun Statues found inside the Vaults.
You can use 260 Shattered Stones and 40 Iron Chunks with the Jeweler to craft Uncertain Seneschal Stone Caches. These caches contain a random Governing Stone or a Tuning Stone, making it one of the best methods if you have an excess of Shattered Stones and want to rank up your Seneschal Construct Stones.
How to Unlock and Upgrade Your Seneschal
You can also craft various tiers of Vault Sigils at the Occultist to unlock Nightmare Vaults, similar to Nightmare Dungeons. These vaults feature stronger enemies and offer better rewards upon completing the dungeon. However, this option is only available on World Tier 3 or higher and requires Sigil Powder to craft.
