Season 2 Questline Walkthrough
During Season 2, you will be able to obtain Pact Armors that contain three different Pact types (Ferocity, Divinity, and Eternity). These Pact types are required to activate your Vampiric Powers, which can provide bonus effects to assist you in combat.
To unlock Vampiric Powers, you need to collect Potent Blood from defeating enemies. Additionally, there is the Blood Harvest Seasonal Event, which has a higher chance of dropping Potent Blood and Pact Armor.
You will also notice a number next to the Pact icon on your Pact Armors and Vampiric Powers. This number represents the points required to activate the Vampiric Powers and the points granted by a Pact Armor.
It is also possible to create your own Pact Armor by using Cleansing Acids and Standalone Pacts on your armor to add a specific type of Pact to your gear. This will allow you to ensure that your Pact Armor matches the Pact required to activate your Vampiric Powers.
The Blood Harvest is a new seasonal event where you can siphon the blood of your enemies to collect Potent Blood and Pact Armors. These events can be found in the Dry Steppes, Hawezar, and Scosglen regions of Sanctuary. By completing World Events in these regions, you will earn Reputation, which is used to progress through the tiers and obtain rewards such as Pact Consumables, Items, and Crafting Materials.
Blood Harvest: Locations, Events, and Rewards
The five new endgame bosses can drop exclusive unique items and uber unique items, which are obtained from the Echo of Duriel. In addition to these unique items, there is also a chance for them to drop special cosmetic items and mounts. However, in order to fight any of these bosses, you must be on World Tier III or World Tier IV, and you need to fulfill a specific requirement in order to summon one of them.
Endgame Boss | Cosmetic Reward |
---|---|
Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint | Demonbinder Mount Armor |
Echo of Varshan | Flesh-Weld Rod Trophy |
The Beast in the Ice | Skull Torch and Fell Steed Mount Trophies |
Dark Master | Diadem of the Ancient Helm |
Echo of Duriel | Brimstone Mount |
A new set of rewards for both the Seasonal Journey and Battle Pass will be available as soon as Season 2 begins. Similar to the previous season, the Season Journey is divided into seven chapters, and it requires you to progress through the new seasonal storyline to obtain the rewards.
Regarding the Battle Pass, it consists of 90 tiers (27 free and 63 premium), and you will need to purchase the premium version to unlock the rewards from the premium tiers.
At the start of Season 2, new cosmetics and new shop bundles will be introduced such as the Hell's Champion Prestige shown above. Make sure to visit Tejal starting on October 17th, as she will update her stock throughout the Season of Blood.
