You can purchase a common contagion at the netrunner shop over in Kabuki, Watson.

I just started the side quest in which you're gifted the ping quickhack via a vendor at the Dew Drop Inn. While ping costs the player nothing there are also additional optional quickhacks available to purchase. Provided you have the funds, of course. All are $1500 each and of the uncommon variety: Contagion, cripple movement, cyberware malfunction, overheat, reboot optics, request backup, short circuit, sonic shock, and whistle are my available options. Hope this helps!

    • I'd really like to see a flowchart with all the Main Quests, Side Quests, and Gigs that exist so we can easily see what you need to do before unlocking XYZ quest (kind of like they did here except with everything, not just the Main ones)

    • Random damage ramp in enemies/damage reduction for the player. Randomly, I would be one shot by low level enemies while only dishing out double digits. A save roll back and reload fixed the issue, but randomly I would fall into same situation leading to all damage becoming one shot kill, even with 400+ HP and a bunch of armor.
