How to Farm Horadric Phials
Participate in Escalating Nightmares
Escalating Nightmare is the best activity for farming Horadric Phials due to the high density of elites in each dungeon available in the activity. Escalating Nightmares are a series of dungeons which provide an surmounting number of elites for you to kill.
Prioritize Horadric Phial Reserve Affixes
Make sure to use Nightmare Sigils with the Horadric Phial Reserve affix as this type of affix provides around 5 Horadric Chests or more throughout the dungeon depending on how lucky you can get.
Run Nightmare Dungeons with Horadric Strongroom
If you do not have an Escalating Sigil you can opt for Nightmare Dungeons with Horadric Strongroom affixes instead. Strongrooms are micro-dungeons that contain a lot of elites, but are way inferior to Escalating Nightmares due to the 100-second limit.
Participate in Helltides
Helltides are your third best bet for farming Horadric Phials. Not only do you get Horadric Phials but you can also obtain Sigil Powder for crafting Nightmare Sigils as well as crafted sigils from Tree of Whisper caches.
