Build Summary | |
---|---|
Touch of Death Endgame Build | |
Focus: Endgame, Torment Pushing | |
High DPS and Crowd Control Excellent Survivability Resource and Unique Gear Reliant
|
This build makes use of spamming Touch of Death by using Rod of Kepeleke and Ring of the Midnight Sun to deal large bursts of damage, while having the Gorilla as your primary Spirit Hall specialization to increase survivability, and Jaguar as your secondary spirit to increase your stacks on Ferocity.
The combination of Soar and Armored Hide makes this build an offensive tank that can increase its damage based on your Resolve stacks. We recommend this build for those who are reaching endgame as higher Torment difficulties require more defensive stats.

Primary Spirit |
---|
Gorilla (Level 15) Casting a Gorilla Skill deals 100% Thorns to enemies you hit and grants a Barrier for 10% of Maximum Life (X), up to 40%, for 3 seconds. All Skills are now also Gorilla Skills. |
Secondary Spirit |
Jaguar (Level 30) Maximum Ferocity is increased by 1. Gain 1 stack of Ferocity whenever you kill an enemy or damage a Boss. |
Gorilla is the best specialization for the Primary slot and Jaguar for the Secondary slot in this Touch of Death build since it gives you access to Resolve, Barriers, and Ferocity, which increase damage and attack speed, respectively.

Armor | Jewelry |
---|---|
Amethyst | Diamond |
For Gems, it's best to slot in Amethyst on armor slots for more Barrier Generation and Diamond on jewelry slots to get more Elemental Resistance. You will not be needing Gems for your weapons as you will be slotting Runewords for them.
Diamonds can be replaced with other gems depending on which resistances you need to get 70% or close across the board.
Runeword 1 | Runeword 2 |
---|---|
Poc Que | Xol Lac |
The best runewords for the Touch of Death build are Poc + Que to consistantly grant yourself a barrier for more survivability, and Xol + Lac to use Challenging Shout and make use of your high survivability.
Make sure to equip these on your Chest Armor and Weapon as both of these can have 2 gem sockets that are perfect for slotting in Runewords.

Raheir | Varyana |
The best mercenaries for the Touch of Death Build are Raheir, who can heal and redirect damage to himself, and Varyana, who can give +10% Attack Speed with Bloodthirst to help spam your Touch of Death even faster.

---|
1. Starting Board (Colossal) |
2. Viscous Shield (Canny) |
3. Revealing (Fester) |
4. Sapping (Revenge) |
5. Convergence (Spirit) |
For Glyphs, your best ones would be Fester, for massively increasing your Centipede and Poison Damage, and Revenge, for scaling up your damage whenever you deal Thorns damage.
We also recommend prioritizing getting the Viscous Shield and Convergence Legendary nodes as these will increase your damage significantly.
