This is a guide to getting the most Greater Affixes and the most efficent way to get the best gear with Greater Affixes in Diablo 4 (D4). Read on to know about the methods on getting the best items in the game!

Unlock Infernal Horde Caches and Greater Caches
A new feature added to 1.5.0 is the Infernal Horde feature. This allows you to battle an unlimited amount of enemy per wave while getting Aether during the battles. At the end of the Infernal Horde and defeating The Fell Council, you'll be able to redeem these Aether for rewards. One of the possible options per run during Tier 3+Infernal Compasses is to open a Greater Equipment Cache which is guaranteed to drop a gear with Greater Affix.

Defeat Blood Maidens
The best method for obtaining legendary gear is by defeating Blood Maidens. To fight a Blood Maiden, you could either use 3 Baneful Hearts to summon her or participate with other players who are already battling her. Note that hearts can be offered cumulatively by different players, but whoever offers most will receive better loot.
We recommend hunting with a group or participate in Blood Maiden hunts during Helltides to get multiple Legendaries and a chance for gear with Greater Affixes!
Head to Tier 46 or Higher Nightmare Dungeons
Tier 46 or higher Nightmare Dungeons have level 100+ enemies, which makes the gear you obtain from said dungeons be locked to items with 925 item power! Run through these dungeons and clear them fast for more chances of perfect gear with Greater Affixes!
Defeat Uber Bosses
Uber Bosses have their own loot tables, and they themselves drop gear with Greater Affixes, inlcuding Uniques. Make sure to hunt Uber Bosses as often as you can for a chance to net the best Uniques for your build!

Tips When Farming Greater Affixes
Fight Against Level 100 Enemies
While not really a prerequisite, we highly recommend only fighting enemies that are above level 100 when farming Greater Affixes. This is due to the nature of the Greater Affixes themselves, as they only enhance the Greater Affix to its 1.5x limit but the rest of the Affixes will not be affected.
What this means is that if you obtain a Greater Affix with low Item Power, you still won't get the best amount of stats for that specific gear or affix. Defeating Level 100+ enemies will guarantee 925 Item Power drops, which has the best affixes you'll ever find.
Gear Have 1 Icon Per Greater Affix
You can see whether a gear has two or more Greater Affixes even without picking it up just by looking at the number of circles beside its name. Keep this in mind when farming for max-rolled gears with three Greater Affix.
