Fractured Peaks

Sarkova Pass

Diablo 4 (D4) - Sarkova Pass Silent Chest

This location is found only a short distance away from Kyovashad. Take one of the northwestern exits and walk just a slight distance to find this chest near the remains of an unfortunate horse.

Hawezar

Forsaken Coast

Diablo 4 (D4) - Forsaken Coast Silent Chest

Teleport to the Backwater Waypoint in Hawezar and head southwest to find this Silent Chest location.

How to Locate Silent Chests

Revisit Regular Chest Locations

Diablo 4 (D4) - Silent Chest and Regular Chest

Silent Chests have been observed to spawn in locations where you would normally find a regular chest. Try to remember the locations in the overworld where you've found a regular chest, as there might possibly be a Silent Chest that took its place.

Take note that Silent Chests have a finite lifespan. This means that if you take too long to open a Silent Chest, you may find that your Silent Chest has reverted back into a regular chest.

How to Open Silent Chests

Use Whispering Keys

Diablo 4 (D4) - Whispering Keys

Silent Chests can only be opened by consuming a Whispering Key. These keys can be purchased from any Purveyor of Curiosities for 20 Murmuring Obols.

You can check how many Whispering Keys your character is holding by visiting the Consumables tab in your inventory!

What Are Silent Chests?

Randomly Spawning Special Chests

Silent Chests are special chests that appear in randomly throughout Sanctuary. These chests typically provide better loot than regular variety chests, so make sure to have a couple Whispering Keys on hand before going out and adventuring.
