How to Unlock Call of the Ancients

Glous is the Chieftain of the Bear Tribe and can be found at the end of the northwestern path from the Bear Tribe Refuge Waypoint. Speak to him to begin this side quest.

Completing the Hammer of the Champion side quest is a prerequisite to unlocking the Call of the Ancients side quest.

Call of the Ancients Walkthrough

| 1 | Speak to Glous to begin this side quest. |
| 2 |  Enter the Hallowed Glacier dungeon, just north of the Bear Tribe Refuge Waypoint. |
| 3 | Fight your way through the dungeon until you find the Elite Monster, Gharl. Slay Gharl to progress this quest. |
| 4 |  Continue exploring the dungeon until you locate the locked door. |
| 5 | Locate and defeat the Elite Monster, Sakoth to obtain the Bloodstone. Depending on how thorough you have been with exploring, you may or may not have to backtrack to find him. |
| 6 | Return the Bloodstone to the pedestal near the locked door to proceed with the quest. |
| 7 |  Speak to Kravett, a trapped spirit of a Bear Tribe Shaman to proceed. Brace yourself for the incoming boss battle. |
| 8 | Defeat Cyhrach The Firstborn. |
| 9 |  Speak to Kravett after defeating Cyhrach to complete this side quest. |

Multiple Bugs that Affect Progress

On the official Blizzard forums, there have been multiple bugs reported for the side quest Call of the Ancients. The issue reports and reported solutions are listed in the table above.
