| Steps to proceed through Fullmoon Island | |

| 1 | Go east to find the entrance to the lake area. You'll find Cresselia on the lake, interact with it. Cresselia will be added to your National Pokedex. |
| 2 | Pick up the Lunar Feather, and talk to Sailor Eldritch. |
| 3 | Next stop is New Moon Island. Travel back to Canalave City to access New Moon Island. |
Legendary Pokemon Cresselia is a roaming Pokemon like the Lake Trio Legendary Pokemon. Use a Marking map to find Cresselia's location easier. You can get the Marking map from the president of the Poketch company in Jubilife City.
Once you have the Marking map, start visiting some wild areas around the Sinnoh Region. When the Marking map detected Cresselia's location, use Repel before getting near it to avoid battling with other Pokemon.
Cresselia is a roaming pokemon, which has a chance to flee during a battle. To catch Legendary Pokemon Cresselia, start with using a trapping move like Mean Look.
Then, use moves with low Power when weakening Cresselia to avoid killing it. Once Cresselia is low on health, start catching it using Ultra Ball or Master Ball for an instant catch.

Note: You will only encounter Legendary Pokemon Cresselia once. Make sure to save the game before interacting with Cresselia so you'll be able to restart the scene when you end up defeating it.
