Catching Mesprit is different from the two other Lake Pokemon as it will start to roam around the Sinnoh region after interacting with it at Lake Verity.
Chasing Mesprit around Sinnoh will be difficult as it will constantly travel from one area to another. Additionally, if you do encounter it in the tall grass, Mesprit will flee after the first turn.
Follow the steps below to easily catch Mesprit!

---|---|
1 | Travel to Floaroma Town. |
2 | Hop on your Bike and ride across Route 205. |
3 | Keep crossing between Floaroma Town, Route 205, and Valley Windworks until Mesprit appears in Route 205 on your Poketch's Marking Map app. |

5 | Walk into tall grass to encounter Mesprit. You will only have one turn until Mesprit flees, so use attacks to bring its HP down but be careful not to knock it out. |
6 | Repeat Steps 3-5 until Mesprit is at low HP. Use Ultra Balls or Dusk Balls if it is nighttime. |
Heatran will appear in the deepest part of Stark Mountain after clearing the mountain for the first time and getting the Magma Stone inside with Buck.

Regigigas' Ability Slow Start will halve its Attack and Speed for the first five turns, so it is recommended to take advantage of these turns to bring it down to low health, but be careful not to knock it out!.
After obtaining the National Dex, a new area called the Spring Path will appear in Route 214. Follow the path and it will lead you to Sendoff Spring, with the entrance to Turnback Cave below the hill.
To encounter Giratina, you must encounter three pillar rooms inside Turnback Cave. The rooms inside are completely random and there are no set ways of getting pillar rooms.
You need to encounter these pillar rooms in less than 30 rooms visited for Giratina to appear. Visiting more than 30 rooms will lead you back to the entrance, as well as entering at the room you have exited from.
To catch Cresselia, you need to help Sailor Eldritch in Canalave City in waking his son up by getting the Lunar Wing in Fullmoon Island, where Cresselia resides.
Interacting with Cresselia at the island will cause it to fly away and roam around the Sinnoh region, similar to Mesprit. It also behaves like Mesprit as it flees after the first turn if it is encountered in the tall grass.
