Pokemon Nursery Features

Breed Up To Two Pokemon

Starters.png

The Pokemon Nursery can help you breed stronger Pokemon to aid your battles. You can leave up to two Pokemon in the Nursery, including a high IV Ditto and the pokemon you want to breed. After some time, they will have an egg ready for you which you can hatch by walking a certain number of steps.

How to Breed and Hatch Strong Pokemon

Utilize the Long Road Beside the Pokemon Nursery To Hatch Eggs Easily

Hatching eggs require you to walk or ride your bike around the region a certain number of times.

Luckily, the Pokemon Nursery is conveniently placed along a long road that stretches from Route 209 to Route 210. Use this to your advantage and ride your bike up and down this road to hatch eggs easily!

Is There A Daycare?

Daycare Replaced With Nursery

Route 210.png

Previous Pokemon games had the Pokemon Daycare where you can leave your Pokemon to breed and level up. However, this hasn't been the case for the recent Pokemon games.

Starting from Pokemon Sun and Moon, the Pokemon Daycare has been replaced with the Pokemon Nursery. The leveling up mechanic was removed and it is now solely for breeding Pokemon.

Nursery Unlikely To Level Up Your Pokemon

Gyarados.png

Unlike the original game, the Pokemon you'll leave in the Pokemon Nursery aren't likely to level up.

The official Pokemon site mentioned that there will be a Pokemon Nursery in the game. Therefore, it is highly unlikely for Pokemon to level up when left there.
