How to Farm Held Items

Use a Pokemon With Super Luck and Thief

BDSP - Super Luck Thief to get Light Ball.png

You can farm held items in BDSP by having a Pokemon with the ability Super Luck as the lead in your party and have it steal a wild Pokemon's item using Thief.

A perfect candidate for this is Absol. It can have the ability Super Luck which increases the chances of a Pokemon to have a held item. It can also learn Thief - a Dark-type move that steals a Pokemon's item. With this, you can check a Pokemon's held item without the need to catch it.

Catch Absol in the Grand Underground

Absol is easily accessible as you can catch it in the Grand Underground as soon as you have access to the Explorer Kit.

Catch it inside Grassland Cave, Spacious Cave, Dazzling Cave, Stargleam Cavern, Sunlit Cavern, and Big Bluff Cavern.

To Get Rare Items

BDSP - Flygon against Volkner

Wild Pokemon Held Items are rare and valuable items that provide stat buffs to your Pokemon or allow them to evolve. These evolutionary held items, such as the Electrizer and the Magmarizer, can only be obtained from wild Pokemon.
