Route 214 Objectives

Steps to proceed through Route 214
1 Defeat all the trainers in this area to add more Pokemon to your Pokedex.
2 Visit Ruin Maniac Cave if you want to do a sidequest. You can find the entrance to Ruin Maniac Cave on the west side of the route.
Travel straight to Route 219 if you want to skip the sidequest. Fastest way to Route 219 is by flying to Sandgem Town.

Route 214 Tips and Strategies

Go to the Ruin Maniac's Cave

Ruin Maniac

The entrance to the Ruin Maniac's Cave can be found in Route 214. It's one of the few places where Hippowdon can be found.

The entire cave will be dug through once you have caught the 26 letter forms of Unown, This will give you access to a new chamber in Solaceon Ruins which is home to the ? and ! forms of Unown. These are the last two forms of Unown available for you to catch.
