If you have save data for either Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield, speak to the gentleman in the flower field on the southwest end of Floaroma Town and he'll give you Jirachi.
If you have save data for Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee, you can also receive a Mew from the madame standing next to the gentleman.
With a great defensive typing and powerful moves, Jirachi is the strongest Pokemon you can get at this point in the game.
As Floaroma town is just a short trip after getting your first badge, it's a good idea to pick up the Wish Pokemon right away to strengthen your team!

Best Natures | ||
---|---|---|
Jolly (+Spd, -Sp.Atk) |
Careful (+Sp.Def, -Sp.Atk) |
Jirachi is a versatile Pokemon that can fill many roles for your team, but it's best used as either a fast physical attacker or a *bulky support Pokemon.
Jolly is the best nature for a physical attacking Jirachi so that it can take advantage of its Serene Grace and Zen Headbutt combo to flinch the opposing Pokemon. Careful, on the other hand, is the best choice if you're looking to train the Wish Pokemon into a more defensive Pokemon that can support its team with Wish or Helping Hand.
