Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are set to release on November 19, 2021. Read on to learn how to preload the game ahead of its scheduled release date.
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl were made available to preload a week prior to its release. Players who were able to pre-order the game from the Nintendo eShop can start preloading the game as early as November 12, 2021.
How to Preorder and All Preorder Bonuses
Preloading Pokemon BDSP will let you play the game on the day of its release at 12 AM on November 19, 2021 ! We recommend preloading the game if you're just as excited as we are to play the highly anticipated Diamond and Pearl remake.
| Step 1 |  Go to the Nintendo eShop on your Nintendo Switch home page. |

| Step 2 |  Search for Pokemon Brilliant Diamond or Pokemon Shining Pearl using the search bar, or by going to the "Coming Soon" section. |
| Step 3 | Select which game you want to purchase. |
| Step 4 | Select Proceed to Purchase. The game will be downloaded automatically after you have confirmed your purchase. |
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl requires 6.7GB of storage so make sure you have extra space in your memory for the game before preloading. If you don't have enough memory storage, you might need to delete some of your game data or buy a microSD card with a bigger storage capacity.
