Ver 1.3.0 Update Summary
  • Having a Pokemon Legends: Arceus save file will allow you to meet the mythical Pokemon, Arceus in your copy of Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl.
  • It is now possible to encounter the mythical Pokemon, Darkrai.
  • You can now trade Pokemon at the GWS in Jubilife City. This requires a Nintendo Switch Online Membership.

How to Encounter Arceus

Arceus Encounter Conditions
  • Have a save file for Pokemon Legends: Arceus with all main missions completed.
  • Enter the Hall of Fame and obtain the National Pokedex.

Once all conditions are met, you will need to return to their room in their house at Twinleaf Town to obtain the Azure Flute!

With the Azure Flute, you will then need to go to the top of Spear Pillar at Mount Coronet where Arceus will reveal itself!

Ver. 1.3.0 also lets you battle and catch the sinister Darkrai at Newmoon Island!

Darkrai Encounter Conditions

The Member Card item is only available to download via Mystery Gift between the new moons, which means the item will be available to download on April 1, 2022 on the day of the month's new moon.

With the Member Card, you will then need to travel to Newmoon Island where you'll encounter Dakrai!
