Survival Area Walkthrough

Get TMs for Facade (TM42)

BDSP - Get Facade TM at the Survival Area

In the house to the south of the Survival Area, you can talk to a man who will give you 3 TMs for the move Facade (TM42).

Talk to Buck's Grandfather after Stark Mountain

After traversing through Stark Mountain with Buck, you need to return to the Survival Area and talk to Buck's grandfather in the house beside the Pokemon Center. After talking to his grandfather, you can return to Stark Mountain to encounter Heatran.

Is the Battleground in the Game?

There is No Battleground in BDSP

The Battleground does not make a return in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and is only a feature in the Pokemon Platinum Survival Area. Though you can no longer battle the stat trainers from the Battleground, you can still rematch the Gym Leaders at their individual gyms.

How to Access the Survival Area

Get the National Dex First

BDSP - Getting the National Dex

Get to the Survival Area by traversing north through Route 225 from the Fight Area. You need to first get the National Dex after becoming champion to be granted access to Route 225 and the Survival Area.

The National Dex can be unlocked by encountering all Sinnoh Pokemon then talking to Professor Rowan at his lab in Sandgem Town.
