At the right of the Trainer's School are two School Kids looking for a battle. Defeat them to get Work Up (TM10).
You can get a Quick Claw by talking to the blonde girl inside the condominum just north of the Poke Mart.
Speak to the Fisherman at the gate leading to Route 218 to acquire an Old Rod. This is useful for catching Water-type Pokemon at bodies of water, like Magikarp which can evolve into the powerful Gyarados.
Fishing and How to Get Each Rod
Steps to proceed through Jubilife City (1st Time) | |

1 | Upon arrival, Prof. Rowan's assistant will tell you where to find your rival. Visit the Trainers' School and look for your rival. The Trainers' School is the building with a gold Poke Ball logo. |
2 | Go straight to the blackboard and speak with your rival to deliver the Parcel. Receive a Town Map from your rival. Optional: Defeat the School Kids at the right to obtain Work Up (TM10). |
3 | Leave the Trainer's School building and travel north. You will encounter the inventor of Poketch. Find three clowns around Jubilife City, and you will receive a Poketch in return. |
4 | After finding all the clowns, return to the area where you found the Poketch inventor and exchange the coupons you got to receive the Poketch. |
5 | Head to the east of the city and enter the gate to Route 218. Speak to the Fisherman and acquire an Old Rod. |
6 | The next area is Route 203. Go back to the city and follow the path behind the Poke Mart to find the entrance. |

1 | Travel north of Jubilife City and approach Lucas/Dawn. |
2 | The Galactic Grunts will challenge you in a team battle. After defeating them, Bebe will appear and give you access to Ball Capsules. |
3 | The next location to visit is Floaroma Town. Pass through Route 204 and Ravaged Path to reach the town. |
After defeating Team Galactic, Bebe will walk up to you and gives you access to Ball Capsules.

Quick Claw gives a chance for the holder to move first in a turn regardless of its Speed stat. It is recommended to let a slow Pokemon hold this item to give them a chance to use their move first in battle.
Once per day you can try your luck at the Lottery Corner in Jubilife TV. Speak to Felicity, the woman at the front desk, and see if any of your Pokemon's ID matches the winning ID number.
You can access the Jubilife TV building after helping Professor Rowan from Team Galactic.

You can battle the trainers standing near the counter in Jubilife TV. These trainers vary every day and the Pokemon they use are pretty easy to defeat. You can take advantage of battling these trainers to change Burmy's cloaks.
You can get the Memo Pad Poketch App after beating Roark's Gym and getting the Coal Badge. Additionally, you can get the Marking Map App after beating Maylene's Gym battle and getting the Cobble Badge.
After the 1.2.0 Update to the game, you can now view Global and Group Records at the third floor of Jubilife TV.
