How to Get Mysterious Shards

Mysterious Shards will not appear in the Grand Underground until you get the National Dex. Once you have received the National Dex, you can find them by digging for treasure in the walls.

List of Slates for Ramanas Park

Each slate can only be used once and will only make one Legendary Pokemon appear. To get all Legendary Pokemon in a room, you will need to get several slates.

Unlock order of the slates is fixed

The order that the slates are unlocked are fixed. At first, only the Discovery Slate will be available, which unlocks the Discovery Room with all 3 Regi's. After catching all 3 Regis, you unlock the Kanto or Johto Room (depending on whether you're playing Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl).

After capturing either the 3 Legendary Birds or Dogs of the Kanto or Johto Room, respectively, you'll unlock the rest of the Slates and their respective Rooms, except for the Distortion Slate and Room. Unlock the Distortion Slate and Room by first capturing Giratina in Turnback Cave.

How to Get to Ramanas Park

Get the National Dex and Become Champion

BDSP - Getting the National Dex.png

Before you unlock Ramanas Park, you first need to become champion and get the National Dex by encountering all 150 Pokemon on the native Sinnoh Dex. Speak with Professor Rowan at his lab in Sandgem Town after completing your Sinnoh Dex to unlock the National Dex.

How to Unlock the National Dex

Go to the End of Route 221

Players can find Ramanas Park at the end of Route 221 as soon as they are able to use Surf. However, the park itself is locked until the you defeat the Champion.

Day One Patch Required

Installing the Ver 1.1.0 Update (Day One Patch), available starting November 11, is required to unlock and enter the Ramanas Park.

What is Ramanas Park?

Replaces the Pal Park

Pokemon BDSP Ramanas Park Caves

Ramanas Park replaces the Pal Park feature from the originals. The Pal Park was originally used to transfer Pokemon from previous Pokemon games such as FireRed, LeafGreen, Ruby, and Sapphire to the Gen 4 games of Diamond and Pearl. Such is not the case anymore for Ramanas Park.
