Get Shiny Statues by digging up Gorgeous Stone Boxes in the Grand Underground. Read on to learn what are Shiny Statues, what do Shiny Statues do, and how to get Gorgeous Stone Boxes in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl (BDSP).

Collecting 40 pink sparkles causes a message to appear on the top right of the screen that says: Something good may happen in the Grand Underground!
This starts an effect that gives a 100% chance to dig up a Gorgeous Stone Box that contains a Shiny Statue!
This dig chance bonus lasts for around 4 minutes before it expires. During this time, you can get up to 6 Gorgeous Stone Boxes if you act quickly. Once the timer starts, quickly run around to find the closest digging spots and refresh them when they run out by entering and exiting Hideaways.
You obtain shiny Statues by digging out Gorgeous Stone Boxes in the Grand Underground.
Press the R Button to search for yellow digging spots on the walls. Once you find a digging spot, press A to start digging!

Gorgeous Stone Boxes have a purple or violet color scheme with glowing patterns decorating its sides. In contrast, Pretty Stone Boxes have a brown color scheme. Both boxes have a symbol engraved on the lid that denotes the type of Pokemon statue you'll find inside.

Shiny Statues are statues of Pokemon that are colored a shiny green instead of the regular grey. They also have a more considerable effect on the appearance rate of Pokemon types in Hideaways compared to regular Statues.
