Customize your character's clothes and hair in the Metronome Style Shop in Veilstone City. Read on for a character creation guide and learn how to customize your character's hairstyle and eye color in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl (BDSP).

How to Customize Outfit

Pokemon BDSP Metronome Style Shop

You can buy and swap between outfits in the Metronome Style Shop in Veilstone City. The shop is located in the southern area of the city, near the gate to Route 214. Outfits come in sets that have a central sytle or motif, rather than individual items of clothing.

It takes approximately 11 to 12 hours of playtime to reach this location in the games.

Pokemon BDSP Change Hairstyle

Unlike previous mainline games, you're unable to customize your character's hairstyle separately from their clothing, as each outfit style has its own set hairstyle. Change hairstyles by changing outfits at the Metronome Style Shop in Veilstone City.

How to Customize Eye Color

It's currently unknown if eye color will be customizable, like it has been in previous games, or if eye color is locked with the appearance you select during character creation.

In previous games, you could change your eye contacts' color, along with hairstyles, at the salon (which was separate from the clothing shops). The salon feature has not been confirmed to appear in the Diamond and Pearl Remakes.
