After defeating the Pokemon League and becoming Champion, you will be permitted to enter Snowpoint Temple (in the northern area of Snowpoint City).
To awaken and battle it, you need to have Regirock, Regice, and Registeel in your party. You can catch all three in Ramanas Park.
Ramanas Park Guide and All Legendary Pokemon
Make your way to the bottom-most floor of Snowpoint Temple. There are a few ice-sliding puzzles on the way. Regigigas appears as a statue at the lowest basement level of Snowpoint Temple.

Regigigas doesn't have anything that is particularly threatening as part of its moveset that will give you trouble in catching it. If you bring enough medicine and Pokemon with natural bulk, catching it should be relatively straightforward.

False Swipe Yawn |
False Swipe Thunder Wave | ||
When facing Regigigas, we recommend using either Blastoise with Yawn and False Swipe, or Absol with Thunder Wave and False Swipe. These Pokemon give you a reliable way to whittle down the opponent's HP as low as possible, and access to a status-inflicting move to improve catch rates.
Blastoise can be the best choice here thanks to its bulk and natural resistance to Regigigas' Heavy Slam. Absol is immune to Zen Headbutt but has to be wary of Hammer Arm. We don't recommend Breloom due to its weakness to Zen Headbutt.
Alternatively, Quagsire is another bulky water type with access to Yawn and can be found pretty easily in the Grand Underground.
In case a Quick Ball on turn 1 did not succeed, the Dusk Ball is a reliable go-to ball to use instead.
If about a dozen turns have passed, you may also rely on the Timer Ball for higher success rates of capture.

Regigigas is also obtainable in Pokemon Legends: Arceus during the course of its story.
If you are missing a legendary Pokemon, especially those that are time-limited, we suggest transferring the Pokemon from Legends: Arceus via Pokemon HOME!

| Best Natures | ||
|---|---|---|
| Adamant (+Atk, -Sp.Atk) |
Impish (+Def, -Sp.Atk) |
|
Regigigas' very high Attack stat makes an Adamant nature an attractive choice. Alternatively, you can go for an Impish nature to provide it more survivability as Regigigas' Attack and Speed are halved for 5 turns.
