How to Find Feebas

How to Find Feebas in Mt. Coronet
  1. Travel to Celestic Town and head west to Route 211 and enter Mt. Coronet North.
  2. Head north towards the boulder and use Strength to move it. Follow the path and head downstairs.
  3. Downstairs, use Defog to remove the fog in the area to the lake. Use Surf to traverse the water.
  4. Fish on the tiles with any of the Fishing Rods until you encounter Feebas.

Feebas has a 50% chance of appearing on the tile it can spawn, so it is recommended to fish up to four times per tile before moving on to the next.

Found in a Lake beneath Mt. Coronet

Random Feebas Tiles in Mt. Coronet Lake
Feebas-Lake-4 Random Spots.gif

Feebas can only be found by fishing on one of 4 random tiles at a foggy lake inside Mt. Coronet (B1F). These tiles change every day with each tile only having 50% chance of letting you encounter Feebas.

Mix Records to Share Feebas Tiles

Both Players are in the Same Group
Player 1 Player 2

If you join a group with other players after you mix records, many game events will now be shared, including Feebas Tile locations. This can make the search for Feebas easier!

When one of the members of your group finds where the Feebas tile is, every member should be able to fish Feebas up from the same tile! The Ace Trainer by the fountain south of Jubilife TV should help you set up a group.

How to Get to Mt. Coronet Feebas Lake

Travel to Celestic Town and head west to Route 211 and enter Mt. Coronet

Enter Mt. Coronet.png
From Celestic Town, head northwest and enter Route 211. From here, continue west and enter Mt. Coronet from this side.

Head north towards the boulder and use Strength to move it. Follow the path and head downstairs

Push the Boulder to Reach Mt Coronet North.png
As soon as you enter, you should notice a boulder blocking the path north. Interact with the boulder to use Strength to push it out of the way. Continue north, then west to take the stairs down to B1F of Mt. Coronet North.

Use Defog to remove the fog and head to the lake. Use Surf to traverse the water.

Defog to clear the fog.png
After descending to B1F, you'll notice this part of the cave has low visibility due to fog. Take out your Poketch and summon a Staraptor to use Defog. With the path clear, head north, then down the steps east and you'll reach the Feebas Lake.

Fish on the tiles with any of the Fishing Rods until you encounter Feebas.

Good Rod and Start Fishing on Every Tile.png
Here comes the hard and tedious part. You'll have to be extremely patient for this since out of the entire lake, there are only 4 tiles that will have Feebas. These tiles change every day so it might be a good idea to start doing this in the morning. If you're unlucky, you might be here all day.

We recommend starting at the top right corner of the lake and go row-by-row. The lake is more spacious in this area allowing you to easily move tile-to-tile without a lot of obstacles. Equip yourself with Repels to avoid any Surf encounters, and focus solely on Fishing encounters. Note that any of the fishing rods will work for this, including the Old Rod, so it's possible to do this fairly early on in the story.

For the tiles that do have Feebas, it has about a 50% chance of showing up. This is why we recommend fishing at every tile 2-4 times before moving on the next tile. This gives you a fairly good chance of not missing any Feebas tiles. Fishing attempts where there isn't even a nibble do not count!

You'll want to actually fish something up and have an encounter to check if it's a Feebas. If you have access to the National Dex it may be a good idea to have a Trapinch with Arena Trap lead your party as it guarantees successful fishing encounters.

Milotic Max Beauty.png
To obtain Milotic, raise a Feebas' by a level once it has a high Beauty condition.

You can check your Pokemon's condition on its Summary page. Feebas will evolve into Milotic once it's Beauty Condition is high enough to appear as sparkling on the Summary page.

How to Raise Beauty Condition

Recommended Dry Poffin Recipe
Chesto Berry Razz Berry Bluk Berry Wiki Berry

To raise a Feebas' Beauty condition, feed it Dry Poffins that are made from dry-tasting, blue-colored Berries.

You can ease up this method by making sure your Feebas has a Special Attack-boosting Nature, which are Modest, Quiet, Rash, or Mild Nature, as these Natures favor Beauty and makes raising the Condition easy.

Prism Scale Availability Unconfirmed

In recent titles, an alternate method for evolving Feebas was introduced. By trading a Feebas holding a Prism Scale, it would evolve into Milotic.

However, our team hasn't confirmed the location of Prism Scales withing BDSP. If you have found Prism Scales, please leave a comment below and let us know!

Best Natures for Feebas

Best Natures
Bold
(+Def, -Atk)
Modest
(+Sp.Atk, -Atk)

Bold is the best nature to get for Feebas if you're planning to train it into a physically defensive Milotic when it evolves and capitalize on its great natural bulk and reliable recovery.

Modest is another good choice if you're looking for a more bulky attacking Milotic instead, with full Special Attack investment so that it hits hard with its Water-type STAB.
