| Steps to proceed through Flower Paradise | |

| 1 | Travel north, and you'll eventually reach Shaymin's location. |
| 2 | Interact with Shaymin, and this will trigger a battle. You will only encounter Shaymin once, now is your only chance if you want to catch it. |
| 3 | After catching Shaymin, travel to Iron Island. To reach Iron Island, fly to Canalave City and ride a ferry. |
Shaymin is quite challenging to weaken as it heals itself using Synthesis and Leech Seed moves. And if you use a powerful move, you might end up knocking it out. It would be best to make it fall asleep before throwing any Poke Ball. Then, use an Ultra Ball to catch it.
