Pokemon BDSP Accessories

Accessories have been replaced by Stickers in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl (BDSP). Read on to learn what Accessories are, how to use and get accessories in Diamond and Pearl, and if Accessories are in the remakes.

Are There Accessories in BDSP?

Sticker Preview

Stickers have replaced Accessories in the Diamond and Pearl Remakes. In the originals, Accessories were used in the Visual Evalution of Super Contest Shows. Each accessory corresponded to a different theme given to you during the Visual Evaluation. Collecting more accessories gave you more options to match the theme, for a higher score.

Use stickers in Capsule Decoration

Pokemon BDSP Stickers Ball Capsule

In the remakes, Stickers now serve that purpose in the Visual Evaluation, but now you decorate the Pokemon's ball capsule before entering the contest. You still earn more points if the Sticker matches the contest's theme.

How to Use Stickers (Pokeball Seals)

How to Get Accessories in Diamond and Pearl

Sticker Shop Floaroma Town

You could get Accessories in the original Diamond and Pearl by walking 200 steps in Amity Square then talking to your walking Pokemon, as a prize for winning Super Contest Shows, from the Massage Girl in Veilstone City, and via Berry exchange at the Pick a Peck of Colors shop in Floaroma Town.

All those methods now give you Stickers, instead of Accessories, except for walking 200 steps in Amity Square with your following Pokemon. Walking 200 steps then talking to your Pokemon doesn't give you anything in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
