Platinum Style Outfits as Early Purchase Bonus

It was announced at the end of the trailer you can get Lucas' and Dawn's outfits from Pokemon Platinum as an early purchase Mystery Gift, from the game's release until February 21st, 2022. After receiving the gift, you'll be able to put it on from the Metronome Style Shop in Veilstone City.

Candice's Abomasnow Knows Blizzard

Candice's strongest Pokemon Abomasnow is depicted attacking with Blizzard in the trailer. Originally, Candice's Abomasnow's signature move was Avalanche, which was the TM given by Candice for defeating her. This could possibly indicate the TM reward for defeating Candice is now Blizzard.

Faithful Recreation of Last 2 Gyms

Snowpoint City Gym

Sunyshore City Gym

Other than the Abomasnow using Blizzard, the Snowpoint and Sunyshore Gyms look to be faithful recreations of the originals in terms of the gyms' layouts and mazes—Snowpoint with its icy floor and large perishable snowballs, and Sunyshore with its rotating gears.

Returning Team Galactic Characters

The 3 Galactic Commanders—Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn—finally make their debut in BDSP marketing, along with their respective signature Pokemon. Another look at the battle with Galactic Boss Cyrus is shown, this time with his Weavile.

Commander Jupiter's Skuntank is depicted using the move Snarl, which was a move that first appeared in Generation 5 (after the original Diamond & Pearl's and Platinum's releases). Similarly, Commander Jupiter's Toxicroak is shown using Toxic, which wasn't in its original learnset either.

Lake Guardians Unveiled
