Version 2.0.0 for Pokemon HOME has been announced and will provide compatibility for Pokemon Briilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, Pokemon Sword and Shield, and Pokemon Legends: Arceus. This will finally allow transfer between the games.
Pokemon HOME Guide and Release Date
Ver. 1.3.0 for Pokemon Brilliant Diamond has been released as of March 16, 2022! This update will allow players to encounter and catch the Mythical Pokemon Arceus and Darkrai!
You can now obtain Oak's Letter via Mystery Gift from February 27 up until March 27, 2022. This item will allow you to talk to Professor Oak in Route 224 and catch Shaymin in Flower Paradise.
Additionally, you can obtain Gracidea at Floaroma Town after capturing Shaymin to change its forms!
How to Get Mystery Gifts and List of Codes
As part of Pokemon's Project Piplup campaign, a new distrubution has been announced! From February 5 to February 24 Japanese players can claim the serial code for a special Piplup from Pokemon Center Osaka, Mega Tokyo, and Kanazawa!

It's confirmed that both Pokemon BDSP and Legends: Arceus take place in the Sinnoh region. Legends: Arceus takes place in the distant past when the Sinnoh region was originally called the Hisui Region.
