Who is Dawn?

Protagonist or Professor's Assistant

Dawn is one of the playable characters, along with Lucas, in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

However, she becomes Professor Rowan's assistant if you choose to play as Lucas. As the assistant, she is the one that teaches you how to catch Pokemon. Dawn also aids you in different situations throughout the story.

You will have a chance to battle with Dawn throughout the story. Her partner Pokemon is the one your starter is strong against (for example, she'll use Piplup if you picked Turtwig).

Dawn also has a Clefairy and a Kadabra in addition to her main Pokemon.
