The Global Wonder Station lets you Wonder Trade with other players around the globe in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl (BDSP). Trade for a random Pokemon with a random Trainer around the world through the Global Wonder Station in Jubilife City and check your trade records with the View Globe feature. Read on to find out more.

Wonder Trade Online

The Global Wonder Station allows players to Wonder Trade with other players online. This feature allows you to trade away any of your Pokemon to receive a random Pokemon from trainers around the world!

How to Trade in the GWS

Pokemon BDSP - Use the GWS
Talk to the receptionist at the Global Wonder Station and choose Use the GWS. This will prompt you to save the game.

Pokemon BDSP - GWS Screen Choose Trade
At the Global Wonder Station screen, choose Trade.

Pokemon BDSP - GWS Select the Pokemon to Trade
Select the Pokemon you want to trade and choose Select.

Pokemon BDSP - GWS Geographical Points
You will now need to select a Geographical Point on the globe from points 1 to 630.
You can scroll through the different points or use the right thumbstick to manually select points across the globe.

Pokemon BDSP - GWS Point Select Trade
Select your chosen Geographical point and choose Trade. This will prompt you to save the game.

Pokemon BDSP - GWS Searching for Trade
The game will now start searching for a trainer to trade within your chosen Geographical point.
Pokemon BDSP - Trading Partner Found
Note: If there are no trainers trading in your chosen Geographical Point, the game will automatically choose the nearest trainer within the region.

Pokemon BDSP - GWS Trade Glimpse
During the trade, you will get a glimpse of the Pokemon being sent to you.
Pokemon BDSP - GWS Trade Complete
Congratulations on a successful trade! The game will also register your newly received Pokemon on your Pokedex or National Dex if you haven't caught them yet.

Pokemon BDSP - GWS Icon Trade Complete
With the trade complete, the game will set the Pokemon's icon on that Geographical Point as a record of your Wonder Trade!
Pokemon BDSP - GWS Screen Icon Record
The Global Wonder Station screen will also record how many trades you've completed on its main screen.

The View Globe feature keeps track of all your Global Wonder Trades in the GWS!

How to Check Trade Records

On the View Globe main screen, click on a trade record to view it.

Pokemon BDSP - GWS Wonder Trade Record
The Trade Record will display important details about your past trade including the Pokemon you traded, the Pokemon's Original Trainer, and if the trade is currently marked on the globe.

How to Delete Trade Records

Pokemon BDSP - GWS Globe Main Screen
On the View Globe main screen, click on the trade record you want to delete.

Pokemon BDSP - GWS Delete Record
Click on the trade record and choose the Delete option to remove the trade record.
Note: Each geographical point has a maximum of 5 trade record slots, so it's a good idea to remove older ones you don't want to record on that point anymore.

What is the Global Wonder Station

The Global Wonder Station (GWS), replaces the GTS in the original Diamond and Pearl games. As the name suggests, the GWS allows players to perform Wonder Trades with other players across the globe.

Something I found weird is that after a certain amount of locations registered from the people you traded with, you get 3 rare candies for it. I wonder if there are rewards for getting more locations registered.
