| Steps to proceed through Ruin Maniac's Cave (Maniac Tunnel) | |

| 1 | Talk to the Ruin Maniac. He will challenge you if you can find all forms of Unown before he finishes digging up the cave. Note: You can skip this sidequest. But if you want to unlock the rest of the Ruin Maniac Cave area, catch all the Unown. |
| 2 | Travel to Solaceon Ruins to catch 26 types of Unown. You can find the ruins on the east side of Solaceon Town. |
| 3 | After catching all the Unown, the Ruin Maniac will have completed the cave. Now you can access the rest of the area and encounter the last two forms of Unown (? and !). You can also encounter Hippopotas in the cave. |
After catching all 26 letter forms of Unown, the entire Ruin Maniac Tunnel, will be dug through.
This will give you access to a new chamber in Solaceon Ruins which is home to the ? and ! forms of Unown. These are the last two forms of Unown available for you to catch.
