Pokemon BDSP Get More Boxes

Get more PC boxes by putting at least 1 Pokemon in each PC box. Read on for steps on how to unlock more PC boxes and to learn how many PC boxes are in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl (BDSP).

How to Get More PC Boxes

At the start of the game, you will have 8 PC boxes in total, which won't be enough if you plan on having multiple Pokemon of the same species (for collecting or breeding purposes). You can add more boxes to your PC through the following method:

Press the X button to open up the Main Menu. From the menu, choose Pokemon and press the R button to access the Boxes. It will take about an hour to unlock the Box Link feature.

Alternatively, if you don't have the Box Link feature yet, you can also go to any Pokemon Center to access the PC boxes. The PC is located to the right of the service counter.

In the boxes storage system, move at least 1 Pokemon to each empty PC box that is currently available.
3 Exit the box storage system after putting at least 1 Pokemon in each PC box.
4 30 Pokemon Boxes.png
Open it again and you will now have twice as many boxes as before (16 boxes).
5 Repeat method again to get 40 boxes, the maximum number of boxes.

How Many PC Boxes Are There?

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl can have a total of up to 40 PC boxes each. Players can store up to 1,200 Pokemon in these boxes - almost thrice as many Pokemon the Natonal Dex has.

Each box can also be customized by changing its wallpaper and its name!
