You get sent back to a Pokemon Center after losing a battle in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl (BDSP). Learn what happens and what to do when you lose a battle.

What Happens When You Lose?

Transported to Last Healing Spot

Pokemon Center

You are transported to your last healing spot after losing a Pokemon Battle. These healing spots can either be the last Pokemon Center you visited or your Mom back in Twinleaf Town.

Additionally, you also lose money after losing a battle. The average amount of money lost can be calculated using this formula:

Number of Current Badges x Twelve (12) x Level of Highest Party Pokemon

Stocking up on Battle and Healing Items will make it easier to battle and defeat strong trainers. Most of these items can be used more than once in a battle, so it is wise to stock up on them before facing a strong opponent!
