Clear Chaos Rifts
The best way to farm Viz Jaq'taar Veneration reputation is by clearing Chaos Rifts. These rifts can spawn randomly between Helltides and Infernal Hordes, and can only spawn in Nightmare Dungeons if they have the Chaos Rifts affix.
In order to clear Chaos Rifts, you will have to eliminate all the Chaos monsters that spawn and eventually destroy the portal to seal the rift.
Get the Urn of Reputation Season Blessing
Make sure spend your Smoldering Ashes to get the Urn of Reputation season blessing as this drops higher amounts of Viz Jaq'taar Veneration reputation to help you reach higher reputation ranks faster.
Best Season Blessings (Season 10)
Prioritize Helltides
We highly recommend participating in Helltide events since this is one of the main ways of finding Chaos Rifts. Try to look for a hand icon on your mini map as this indicates a Chaos Rift, which is usually nearby other rifts that you can farm as well.
Additionally, prioritize getting Chaos Rifts in Helltides that have the Viz Jaq'taar Veneration reward as this guarantees more reputation points to offer.
Prioritize Open Chaos Rifts
If you see a black portal icon on your map, immediately head for it as this means that the Chaos Rift is already open and other players are already trying to clear it. Dealing any damage before the Chaos Rift is sealed will allow you to reap the rewards once the event is complete.
Keep in mind that if the Chaos Rift is sealed before you do any damage, you will not receive any rewards upon completion.
Clear Waves in Infernal Hordes
Infernal Hordes are also an efficient way to farm Viz Jaq'taar Veneration reputation. Use a Fleeting Compass to enter the Fleeting Horde dungeon if you have not reach Torment difficulties yet, or use an Infernal Compass to access the Infernal Horde in Torment I or above difficulties for even higher reputation drops.
Do Nightmare Dungeons
Lastly, Nightmare Dungeons can be a reliable way to farm Viz Jaq'taar Veneration reputation as long as they have the Chaos Rifts affix on their Nightmare Sigils. Furthermore, they also provide you with Obducite which is a high value material for Masterworking.
Although Nightmare Dungeons are reliable, it is possible for you to run out of Nightmare Sigils with Chaos Rift affixes, where in this case, we recommend going for Helltides in the meantime so you can get more Nightmare Sigils to continue your dungeon runs.
Buy Warp Scrolls from Shyan
Aside from Chaos Rifts, you can also spend your Infernal Warps with Shyan at Yelesna to purchase Warp Scrolls that can provide a small amount of Viz Jaq'taar Veneration reputation. If you have bunch of extra Infernal Warps, make sure to visit Shyan every now and then to max out your seasonal reputation.
How to Unlock Viz Jaq'taar Veneration
Complete the Sands of Chaos Quest
In order to unlock the Viz Jaq'taar Veneration reputation, you first have to complete the Sands of Chaos questline as this requires you to interact with the Reputation Board to finish the quest. Doing so will immediately unlock your Viz Jaq'taar Veneration reputation ranks and gain access to all the rewards it has to offer.
