Nightmare Vaults are unlocked in World Tier 3 of Diablo 4 (D4) Season 3, Season of Construct. Read on to learn more about how to unlock Nightmare Vaults, how to get Nightmare Vault Sigils, their rewards, and their difference from normal vaults!

Nightmare Vaults are unlocked in World Tier 3 provided you have completed the seasonal questline, which gives you access to the vaults.
Season 3 Questline Walkthrough
Nightmare Vault sigils are needed to access Nightmare Vaults. Players need to activate the sigil in order to activate the Nightmare Vault and claim its rewards after a successful run.
Nightmare Vault Sigils can be crafted by the Occultist similar to Nightmare Dungeons. Crafting a Nightmare Vault Sigil will cost Sigil Powders and Shattered Stones.
Nightmare Vault Sigils can also drop from monsters inside the Nightmare Vaults. Completing a Nightmare Vault also guarantees a Nightmare Vault sigil as a reward.
Nightmare Vaults have an extra Wardwoven Chest that costs more Zoltun's Warding but also gives more rewards.
Nightmare Vaults also reward players with Glyph XP, making it a good alternative for regular Nightmare Dungeons.
Completing a Nightmare Vault guarantees a Nightmare Vault Sigil which is quite handy if players have run out of materials for crafting another sigil.
Nightmare Vaults have a set of affixes similar to Nightmare Dungeons, making the vault more challenging.
Best Nightmare Dungeon Affixes
Nightmare Vaults have limited revives. When you die beyond the limit, you will be kicked out of the Vault and the sigil will be consumed.
