You can get your first Jewelry with Malignant Sockets by opening the Cage-torn Bag given by Cormond in Diablo 4 (D4). Read on to learn more about the how to get Malignant Sockets and if you can reroll them!

You can obtain your first jewelry with Malignant sockets by opening the Cage-torn Bag after completing the Burning from Within Season Quest. Opening the bag will reward you with two rings that will have random socket types. Use these to test out some of the Malignant Hearts you were able to get!
Season 1 Questline Walkthrough

You can get Jewelry with Malignant Sockets from monster drops very early in game. Make sure to keep the Jewelry with the Malignant Sockets that you are looking for.

The Jewelry Vendor can sell good quality Jewelry so always check their goods every now and then. With the right luck, you might be able to get the affixes and Malignant Socket you want in one go! Note that we do not recommend this during the early game as stats are not as important.
There currently hasn't been any method confirmed in the game to reroll the Malignant Sockets on a piece of Jewelry. It's possible that a method will be added later in the season, but for now, you'll need to farm for Items which have the Socket color you need for your build.
