CD Projekt Red is known for supporting cross-saves across platforms for some of their titles, including Cyberpunk 2077. Learn more about how to enable cross-progression between consoles and PC and the restrictions for this feature.

Cyberpunk 2077 - How to Enable Cross-saves

Cross-saves can be enabled by entering the Settings menu. On the Gameplay tab, look for Miscellaneous then Enable cross-platform Saves. This will allow all your saves to be uploaded to your GOG Galaxy account for access on other platforms.

Due to the regional restrictions of consoles, PC saves, which are region-free, cannot be transferred to consoles to prevent bypassing these restrictions. Similarly, console to console transfers only work if they satisfy the regional restrictions below.

What are Cross-saves and Cross-progression?

Transfer Saves and Progress Across Platforms

Cross-save and cross-progression refer to the same thing, which is the ability to access your save files across different platforms. This feature allows you to load up your game on one platform and pick up where you left off on another. Cross-save support was added in Cyberpunk 2077 with Patch 1.6.

Is Crossplay Available?

Crossplay is Not Available

Crossplay is the ability to simultaneously play the game with others, without regard to the platform they're using. As no updates have been made for multiplayer in Cyberpunk 2077, it remains uncertain if it will be a feature in the game. However, players can expect more news in the future as CD Projekt Red expands from the base game.

As cross-progression has already been shown to be possible, crossplay would definitely not be out of the question in a future multiplayer update.
