List of Contents
The Beast in Me: The Big Race becomes available at a certain point during The Beast in Me. This is the last race that you have to win to progress through the Side Job.
|Quest Rewards||The full list of Rewards for this Quest is coming soon!|
Head to the Big Race.
Call Claire to start the race. After arriving to the starting point, call Claire. Use Claire's Beast since it can mow through your opponents.
Lean against the wall and wait for Claire.Lean against the wall for a time skip to the final race.
Approach Claire. You'll also meet your taraget, Sampson
Talk to Claire.
Get in Claire's ride.
Wait for the race to start.
Optional: Finish the raceTake note that finishing the race is not required to complete the job. Focus on your target.
Stay close to Sampson.Stay close to Sampson's car throughout the race so Claire can have clear shots.
Follow Sampson. After dealing enough damage, Sampson's car will stray from the race course and slow down. Follow him until he crashes to complete the job.
If you finish the race, you'll get the prize money, but Claire will be angry at you and you won't be able to get her ride as a reward for the overarching job The Beast in Me.
If you pursue Sampson, the ending of the overarching The Beast in Me will continue on as usual.
The best choice would depend on what you want, as even though Claire would be hostile she will not affect the story outside of her mission chain. Choose between the new car or the money.
Your main objective here is to take down Sampson. Stay close to his car and ignore the whole race until his car crashes. Doing so will complete the job and you will proceed to the next part of The Beast in Me.

In the crafting screen, would love to see a comparison between what I'm currently equipped with vs what I've selected to craft. In the Inventory screen, I have no idea where any extra weight is without going into each category (weapons, clothes, etc). Please add some sort of weight indicator next to each category so I know exactly where I seem to be overloaded. In the Map, please mark completed items (assault in progress, access points), grey out the icons or something similar?
If I fail or cancel out of an access point, the mini-game will not load up, you'll just get the jack in/Jack out animations but the mini-game will no longer appear.
