Space Oddity becomes available after completing Playing For Time.
Upon completing this side quest, you will receive a painting called Untitled 18 - Brancesi, 2021, which you can sell for 4000 eddies.
Head to a gas station in Rancho Coronado. The side quest is marked on the map in Rancho Coronado. Head to the gas station with a homeless camp. Once you have arrived, the Space Oddity side quest will formally start.
Talk to the bums.Approach the bums at the table and ask them about the suitcase behind them.
Method 1: For a non-lethal approach, you can negotiate with them or threaten them instead. The latter requires at least 7 Body points.
Method 2: Take the suitcase with brute force by attacking the bums.
Examine the suitcase.Method 1: If you have at least 7 Intelligence points, you can hack the suitcase to get the information you need.
Method 2: Scan the area and look for the corpse the bums told you about, which is located at the left side of the gas station. Loot the shard from the corpse to access the suitcase.
Go to the drop point.Once you obtain the location from the suitcase, head to the drop point in the Badlands.
Defeat all enemies. The drop point will be surrounded by seven Militech personnel, so prepare for a heavy gun fight. Take them all out then loot the painting from the package to finish the quest.
Take note that this exploit has been patched out after the release of Patch v1.2. Check out our money farming methods using the button below.

In the crafting screen, would love to see a comparison between what I'm currently equipped with vs what I've selected to craft. In the Inventory screen, I have no idea where any extra weight is without going into each category (weapons, clothes, etc). Please add some sort of weight indicator next to each category so I know exactly where I seem to be overloaded. In the Map, please mark completed items (assault in progress, access points), grey out the icons or something similar?
Nomad car is invisible in These Boots Are Made For Walking side quest.
