What is a Greater Affix
An Affix with a 1.5x Multiplier
Greater Affix is not just an Affix with a higher value than your standard Affixes. Greater Affixes are Affixes that enhances an Affix' current value by 1.5x of its true value. This means that if you got a gear with a Greater Affix that provides 50% damage bonus, in reality, its true stat value would be 0.33% but because of the Greater Affix multiplier, you'll get the final value of 50%.
Greater Affixes Can be Enhanced with Masterwork
Masterwork is the next step to upgrading your gear to prepare yourbuild for the endgame. Masterwork will enhance your Affixes' performance by 5% per level and a single affix will get a 25% bonus every 4 levels for a maximum of 12 levels or 3 instances of 25% bonuses. All of these bonuses can also apply to Greater Affixes so try to focus those 25% multiplier to your Greater Affixes to maximize your gear's stats!
Greater Affixes Cannot be Enchanted from the Occultist
Greater Affixes are much rarer than normal gear with regular stats. Due to this, greater affixes cannot be enchanted. This will make hunting for Greater Affixes a core part of going for an end-game build as getting the right Greater Affix for your build will boost your build's performance to a higher level!

Gear Can Have Multiple Greater Affixes
Gear with Greater Affixes are rare and few among all the loot you get. Gear with multiple Greater Affixes are much rarer so hunting for exotic item pieces like these will be crucial if you want to min-max your build.
Can Uniques Have Greater Affix?
Uniques Can Have Greater Affixes
Despite having a fixed Affix set, Uniques can also have Greater Affixes. They cannot roll Affixes with a different Affix than its fixed setup. The Greater Affixes that Uniques will roll will also be the same statline that they would usually have. This would mean that the main stat benefits of these Uniques will still be the same for builds that use them but only with a stronger benefit than its regular Unique counterpart.
