Cleansing Acid - Diablo 4

Cleansing Acid is an item that you can use to remove existing pacts on your armor pieces in Diablo 4 (D4) season two! Read on to know more about Cleansing Acid, how to get and farm Cleansing Acid, and when to use Cleansing Acid!

How to Get Cleansing Acid

Obtain Cleansing Acid from Seeker's Cache

The most reliable way to get Cleansing Acid is by opening Seeker's Caches during the Blood Harvest seasonal event. These are chests that is exclusive to Diablo 4's Season 2 contents and are only accessible while playing the said season. Opening these caches will guarantee a drop of at least 1 consumable item that can modify the pacts on your armor pieces.

The best way to obtain a huge amount of Cleansing Acid as well as other pact imbuing items are to group up with other players and hunt for Seeker's Caches all over Sanctuary. The main difference between farming these caches by yourself vs with a party is that you'll need to spend your Seeker's Key for every chest you're going to open.

However, this is not the case when playing as a party as any party member that opens a Seeker's Cache will allow the whole party to obtain its contents. This means that with a full party of four with 20 Seeker's Keys, you'll be able to open 80 chests worth of items instead!

Cleansing Acid Effects

Cleansing Acid is a consumable that allows you to remove the season 2 pacts on your main armor slots. This will allow you to customize these armors yourself by using other pact giving consumables such as the Pact of Eternity, Pact of Divinity, and Pact of Ferocity. This mechanic makes it possible to fully customize your endgame build with specific vampiric powers!
