Diablo 4 - How to Get the Assassin

The Assassin's Satchel is a rare PvP Mount Trophy that can only be obtained by opening Baleful Chests inside Fields of Hatred in Diablo 4 (D4). Read on for a preview of the Assassin's Satchel in-game, as well as info on how to get it and how to equip it.

Open Baleful Chests in the Fields of Hatred

Diablo 4 - Baleful Chest

The Assassin's Satchel mount trophy will have a chance to drop from any Baleful Chests you manage to open inside the Fields of Hatred PvP zone. Explore the Fields of Hatred in the Dry Steppes and Kehjistan regions to find these rare chests inside the PvP areas.

Only Bloodmarked Players are Allowed to Open Baleful Chests

Diablo 4 - How to Be Bloodmarked

Do note that you will need to be Bloodmarked in order to open a Baleful Chest. To do this, open the Emote Wheel and select the option Mark for Blood. However, once Bloodmarked, everyone in the Field of Hatred will be able to attack and kill you (this includes non-Bloodmarked players).

How to Equip the Assassin's Satchel

Equip the Mount Trophy at the Stable Master

Assassin

To use the Assassin's Satchel on your mount, simply head over to the Stable Master NPC and navigate to the Mount Trophy Tab. Once there, select the Assassin's Satchel from the menu to quickly equip it on your mount.

Unlock Mounts by Completing the Priority Quest - Donan's Favor

If you still do not have access to mounts, you will need to complete the Acts 1-3 of the main story. Upon starting Act 4, you will receive a Priority Quest from Donan where he gifts you a mount that unlocks Diablo 4's mount feature.
