How to Unlock Votive Passing

Head to Braestaig

The Votive Passing quest can be started by talking to Chieftain Asgail in Braestaig after finishing Act II of the Main Story.

You Must Complete Parting Embers First

Even if Braestaig can be visited early on, the Parting Embers Main Quest must be completed first before players can talk to Chieftain Asgail to start the Votive Passing side quest.

Talk to Chieftain Asgail in Braestaig to start the quest.

Mark the Resting Sites of the Lost Hunters
From Braestaig, head north to the highlighted area on your map to look for the Lost Hunters. After finding a Lost Hunter, interact with the Build Ward of Passing to mark their resting sites.

Search for the Source of the Voice
After building the three Wards of Passing, go to the next highlighted area on your map to look for the source of the voice.

Speak with the Wounded Hunter
Talk to the Wounded Hunter to progress the quest.

Deliver the Handmade Torc to Maisie
Return to Braestaig and deliver the Handmade Torc to Maisie, who can be found north of the waypoint.
