Zalan Coste is an NPC in Margrave who can be found sitting injured on the side of the road near the Blacksmith. Speak to him to begin this side quest.

Legacies of Light's Watch Walkthrough

Speak to Zalan Coste to begin this side quest.

Diablo IV - Light
Head to the Light's Watch dungeon, located directly north of Margrave.

Slay the two Watchmen as you make your way through the dungeon, as the final Archivist's Journal cannot be accessed without doing so.

After defeating two Watchmen, slay the Watchman Lead for the Watchman's Key needed to access the final area of the dungeon.

Locate the first Archivist's Journal somewhere within the dungeon.

Proceed further into the dungeon to locate the second Archivist's Journal.

Proceed passed the Watchman's Gate to locate the third and final Archivist's Journal.

Optional Step:
Slay the Den Mother
The Den Mother is the final boss of the Light's Watch Dungeon. You can choose to defeat her now, but you don't need to slay her to complete this side quest.
9 Diablo IV - Legacies of Light
Return the Archivist's Journals to Zalan Coste in Margrave to complete this quest.
