Before you can find a Faded Old Painting from corpses in Dobrev Taiga, you must first compete the side quest Legacies of Light's Watch from Zalan Coste.

Diablo IV - Faded Old Painting World View
The first and most difficult step of this quest is finding the Faded Old Painting. Loot all the corpses and chests you find in Dobrev Taiga for a random chance to obtain the Faded Old Painting quest item.
2 Diablo IV - Margrave map location
Once you've obtained the Faded Old Painting, head to Margrave, directly south of Kyovashad.
3 Diablo IV - Better Days - Zalan Coste
Speak to Zalan Coste once you've arrived in Margrave to show him the painting.
4 Diablo IV - Better Days Reward
Showing the painting to Zalan Coste will complete the quest and award the player with some gold, exp, and a Salvage Cache.
