Players can begin obtaining Magic Manuals by defeating random enemy mobs in the overworld. You can also get these by progressing through the Seasonal Questline or Campaign Story as well as in various activities such as Dungeons and Strongholds.
Rare Manuals can be obtained later in the game as you progress. You can expect to find them in when you take on events featuring high-density mobs, such as Nightmare Dungeons, Helltides, and Kurast Undercity.
Legendary Manuals can be obtained once you get to the endgame, especially when you enter Torment Difficulties. While they can be acquired randomly, we recommend participating in endgame activities with a high volume of Elite enemies such as The Pit, Infernal Hordes, and Dark Citadel to increase your chances of getting these drops.
Once you're able to do tempering, you'll be able to do the Tempering Manual priority quest in Kyovashad. In the Blacksmith's area, there will be a chest containing the magic manual version of the Natural Finesse manual.
