Diablo 4 - Hatred Rising Update

Previously obtained from The Pit, Neathiron has been removed from the game as a high-tier Masterworking material. This change was on the Season 6 Update of the game which released alongside the Vessel of Hatred Expansion. Its use has been replaced by Obducite, which is now the primary material for Masterworking across all tiers.

However, characters in the Eternal Realm who still have Neathiron in their inventory will retain the material, though it can no longer be used for Masterworking.

Although Neathiron is no longer usable for Masterworking, characters in the Eternal Realm can transmute it into Obducite at the Alchemist. Each Neathiron can be converted into 9 Obducite, which is now the required material across all tiers for Masterworking.
