The livestream was hosted by Adam Fletcher and featured several lead developers from the Diablo 4 team. The stream started with Diablo Immortal news and information regarding the newest class (Blood Knight).
After the announcement of Diablo Immortal, it was shortly followed by the news updates for Diablo 4, Season 1 (Season of the Malignant), Season Journey, Season Blessing, and Battle Pass Rewards.

Season 1 Release Date
Season of the Malignant Starts July 20, 2023
The first season of Diablo 4 (D4), the Season of the Maglinant, releases on July 20, 2023. This update features new seasonal mechanics, questlines, balance patches, quality of life updates, as well as access to the Seasonal Battle Pass and Seasonal Journey.

With Season 1 update comes access to the Seasonal Battle Pass! This is accessible to everyone but has additional rewards waiting for those who will avail the Premium Battle Pass. The Seasonal Battle Pass is set to last for the entire Season which spans in a total of 12 weeks!

Seasonal Journey
The Seasonal Journey is a feature composed of several chapters with certain challenges and objectives that reward players after completing them. This comes with the Seasonal Battle Pass and is accessible to everyone for free.
Get various rewards from new Legendary Aspects to Seasonal Titles by completing chapters in the Seasonal Journey!
Battle Pass Rewards
The most exciting part of the Seasonal Battle Pass are the exclusive rewards that come with it. Progress through the seasonal contents to get Favors which are tokens that will grant you Battle Pass Rewards. These rewards vary from Seasonal Cosmetics, Mounts, and Seasonal Blessings.
Patch 1.0.4
Fixed multiple issues regarding Subdue Glyph, Elixir of Expertise, Aspects, Cursed Scrolls, and some Bug Fixes for Barbarian Skills, Rogue Skills, and Necromancer Skills.
They were also able to fix issues regarding some of the dungeon quest preventing you for progressing further, enemy spawning, and the Death Pulse Affix on Treasure Goblins for Nightmare Dungeons.
Uniques Added to Tortured Chests (Helltides)
It has been announced in the 1.0.4 Patch Gameplay Adjustments that Unique Items can now drop from Tortured Chests during the Helltide event.
What Carries Over to Seasonal Characters?
Players will be able to skip the campaign after finishing the main story with at least one character. Additionally, mounts are confirmed to be permanently unlocked for every character that you create after completing the Mount: Donan's Favor Priority Quest once.
Stats and Bonuses from Altars of Lilith will be carried over along with the World Map Discovery and Renown Bonuses, removing the fog for all your Seasonal Characters.
To carry over your progress to existing and new characters, you must first log in to Diablo 4 from July 18 onwards using your character with the most progression. This will automatically transfer over to any character you have in your account.
