Imperfectly Balanced is a Core Necromancer Skill in Diablo 4 (Diablo IV). Read on to learn more about Imperfectly Balanced and the bug currently affecting it after Patch 1.1, including its effects, skill upgrades, and its stats at each rank.
Imperfectly Balanced Bug
Can Only Add 1 Skill Point After Patch 1.1
The Version 1.1 Patch added an undocumented change removing Ranks 2-3 of Imperfectly Balanced.
Note that you can still have up to 3 Ranks of Imperfectly Balanced until you take points out of it. Once you remove points from it, you will no longer be able to add them back in, and players who have not specced into Imperfectly Balanced yet can only add 1 Skill Point.
This is currently still unacknowledged by the developers, and it's unclear whether it is an intended feature or not. For now, it's best to leave your Skill Points in Imperfectly Balanced if they are already placed, and avoid removing them until the issue is resolved.
