Complete the Depths of Despair Side Quest
Completing the Depths of Despair side quest is a prerequisite to unlocking the Faith in Blood side quest.

| Objective | |
|---|---|
| 1 |  Speak to Petr to begin this side quest. He can be found trying to get your attention near the Kyovashad Waypoint. |
| 2 |  Return to the Ominous Cellar in Kvera's House. |
| 3 |  Once inside, speak to the injured Sister Octavia to progress this quest. |
| 4 |  Head to Margrave and speak to Priest Matvey about obtaining a Holy Chalice. |
| 5 | Head east from Margrave to reach the Western Tunnels area to slay Bandits and consecrate the Silver Chalice. |
| 6 |  Return to Priest Matvey in Margrave and interact with the Smoldering Pyre Wood to receive a Holy Chalice quest item. |
| 7 |  Return to Sister Octavia to perform the exorcism ritual on her. |
| 8 | Defeat Demotath for a final time once he emerges from Sister Octavia. |
| 9 |  Speak to Sister Octavia outside to complete this quest and receive your rewards which include Sister Octavia's Prayer Book. |
